AbstractThere is a long historiographical debate on the approximation of history and literature such as “how much history there is in literature?” and “how much literature there is in history?” Discuss literature as a historical source leads to another questioning such as the very nature of historiography, if whether it would have an artistic and fictional nature, or it would be scientific and objective. In this article we intend to show some of the contributions of the theory of history to this debate. Keywords: History, Literature, Narrative.
