EFEITO DO GANHO DE PESO NA RENTABILIDADE DA TERMINAÇÃO EM CONFINAMENTO DE BOVINOS DE CORTE EM CONFINAMENTO

Abstract

Este estudo teve como objetivo fazer uma simulação do efeito de diferentes taxas de ganho de peso sobre a rentabilidade da terminação de bovinos de corte em confinamento e identificar os componentes que exerceram maior influência sobre os custos finais da atividade. Os dados analisados foram provenientes da simulação da terminação em confinamento de 500 bovinos machos castrados, com ganhos de pesos médios diários de 1,1; 1,3; 1,5 e 1,7 kg. O processamento dos dados foi realizado utilizando planilha eletrônica desenvolvida especificamente para esse fim. Diante dos resultados concluiu-se que a taxa de ganho de peso afetou a lucratividade da terminação, em confinamento, de bovinos de corte, sendo o ganho de peso de 1,3 kg o que proporcionou maior rentabilidade. A taxa de ganho de peso  influenciou os “pesos” dos itens componentes do custo operacional efetivo da atividade, sendo esses diferentes em cada um dos ganhos de peso estudados.   Palavras-chave: Custo de produção, lucratividade, pecuária de corte, simulação.     ABSTRACT   This study aimed to make a simulation of the effect of weight gain for the profitability of finishing beef cattle in feedlot conditions and identifying the most influential components on the final costs of the activity. The analysed data were from the simulation of the finishing of 500 male castrated bovines, with an average daily weight gain of 1,1; 1,3; 1,5 and 1,7 kg. The electronic processing of data was made using an electronic spread - sheet. From the results, it was concluded that effective weight gain significantly affected the profitability of the finishing of beef cattle in feedlot conditions, the weight gain of 1,3 kg, offering greater profitability. The rate of weight gain influenced the onus of the component items in the effective operational cost of the activity,  these being different in each of the studied  weight gains.   Key-words: Beef cattle, production cost, profitability, simulation.
