A MULTIFUNCIONALIDADE DO ESPAÇO RURAL NA REGIÃO CENTRAL DO RIO GRANDE DO SUL – DADOS GERAIS

Abstract

As transformações sociais contemporâneas no rural colocam desafios para as estratégias de desenvolvimento e de seus agentes. Novos espaços no rural passam a ser ocupados neste processo para criar e atender novas demandas. Assim, objetivou-se neste trabalho identificar, nos territórios rurais da região central do RS, atividades de lazer, turismo, recreação, entre outros, que apontem usos alternativos do espaço rural além do agrícola-alimentar. Os dados foram obtidos através de consultas aos escritórios municipais da EMATER, materiais de divulgação dos próprios empreendimentos ou das prefeituras dos municípios, investigação, entrevistas e visita in loco. Com base nas múltiplas funções dos estabelecimentos, lugares e atividades obtiveram-se dados que indicam a seguinte freqüência tipológica: Agrocomércio (27,75%), Turismo Rural (48,84%), Patrimônio histórico-cultural (16,47%), Outros (Fábricas etc) (14,74%). A partir de amostragem obteve-se o perfil em termos de idade, sexo e escolaridade dos proprietários e trabalhadores envolvidos nos empreendimentos.   Palavras-chaves: multifuncionalidade da agricultura; novas ruralidades; turismo rural.     ABSTRACT   The social transformations contemporaries in the agricultural one place challenges for the strategies of development and its agents. New spaces in the agricultural one start to be busy in this process to create and to take care of new demands. Thus, it was objectified in this work to identify, the rural territories of the central region of the RS, activities of leisure, tourism, recreation, among others, that point alternative uses of the rural space beyond agriculturist-feeding. The data had been gotten through consultations to the municipal offices of the EMATER, materials of spreading of the proper enterprises or of the city halls of the cities, inquiry, interviews and visit in loco. On the basis of the multiple functions of the establishments, places and activities had been gotten data that indicate the following tipological frequency: Agrocommerce (27,75%), Rural Tourism (48,84%), history and cultural Patrimony (16,47%), Others (Factories etc) (14,74%). From sampling the profile in age terms was gotten, sex and school degree of the proprietors and involved workers in the enterprises.   Key words: Multifunctionnality of agriculture; news ruralities; rural tourism.
