MODIFICAÇÃO DE ESCADA VISANDO A MELHORIA DA SEGURANÇA NA COLHEITA MANUAL DE CITROS

Abstract

Na colheita manual de citros a queda de escada é a principal causa de acidentes. Com o objetivo de melhorar a condição de segurança da colheita foi desenvolvida e avaliada uma modificação estrutural na escada normalmente utilizada para colheita. A escada modificada foi avaliada por meio da coleta de observações e de opiniões dos colhedores. Os principais parâmetros avaliados foram: a estabilidade lateral, o transporte, o manuseio e a produção dos colhedores (caixa/dia). A modificação proposta mostrou-se adequada para melhorar a segurança na colheita manual de citros, tendo reduzido em 72 % as situações de instabilidade durante a colheita.   Palavras-Chave: colheita de citros, segurança no trabalho, escada para colheita     ABSTRACT   The fall of the ladder in Manual citrus harvest is the main cause of accidents. Aiming to improve the security condition of the harvest was developed and evaluated a structural change in the ladder normally used to harvest. The conventional ladder was modified and evaluated through the collection of observations and opinions of harvesters. The main parameters were: the lateral stability, transport, handling and production of harvesters (box/day). The proposed change was perfectly adequate to improve security in the manual harvesting of citrus, and reduced by 72% the situations of instability during the harvest.   Key Words: citrus picking, agricultural accidents, ladder for harvest.
