QUAESTIO VI, ARTIGO X: ACERCA DAS VIRTUDES E VÍCIOS

Resumo

Apresenta-se aqui a tradução da quaestio VI, artigo X, na qual Ockham, seguindo uma discussão do livro VII da Ética a Nicômaco de Aristóteles, trata acerca das virtudes da continência, temperança e virtude heroica, e similarmente dos três vícios antagônicos a estas, a saber, a incontinência, maldade e a bestialidade. Palavras-chave: virtudes; vícios; prudência.   Abstract: We present here the translation of quaestio VI, Article X, in which Ockham, following a discussion of Book VII of the Nicomachean Ethics of Aristotle, treats of the virtues of continence, temperance, and heroic virtue, and similarly the three vices antagonistic to these , namely incontinence, malice and bestiality.
