OS PRINCÍPIOS LIBERAIS E O PROBLEMA DA SUJEIÇÃO FEMININA

Resumo

O presente trabalho busca mapear os elementos principiológicos utilizados pelo filósofo utilitarista inglês John Stuart Mill em defesa do problema da sujeição feminina. O autor estabeleceu princípios fato-valorativos da estrutura liberal inerente à revolução industrial do século XIX para desenhar o início político-filosófico do feminismo contemporâneo. O resultado do processo, mesmo que tardio, se reflete até hoje e a discussão se mantém atual, especialmente no que se refere à inserção da mulher nos ambientes institucionais. Palavras-chave: Liberalismo; utilitarismo; feminismo.  Abstract: This paper seeks research the principles used by the english utilitarian philosopher John Stuart Mill in defense of the problem of woman subjection. The author established fact-evaluative principles inherent in the industrial revolution of the nineteenth century liberal framework to draw the political-philosophical beginning of contemporary feminism. Even later, the result of the process is reflected today and remains present discussion, especially with regard to the inclusion of women in institutional environments.
