Fé e espiritualidade no cotidiano de pacientes pré-operatórios internados na clínica cirúrgica / Faith and spirituality in the daily life of preoperative patients admitted to the surgical clinic
Resumo
Objetivo: conhecer e compreender a forma como a fé e espiritualidade se manifestam na vivência de pacientes que realizarão uma intervenção cirúrgica. Método: estudo qualitativo e exploratório, realizado com 20 pacientes internados em um hospital universitário no Sul do Brasil. As informações foram coletadas em setembro de 2019, através de instrumento semiestruturado e categorizadas por meio de análise temática. Resultados: o medo e a angústia são sentimentos frequentes entre pacientes submetidos a intervenções cirúrgicas. A fé e espiritualidade são recursos importantes de refúgio para amenizar esses sentimentos. Apesar disso, o cuidado espiritual é uma dimensão pouco explorada pelos profissionais de saúde. O amparo espiritual é recebido principalmente de amigos e familiares. Conclusões: sugere-se a inclusão do acolhimento espiritual no plano de cuidados para ampliar a qualidade do cuidado e o vínculo dos pacientes com os profissionais, visto que, compõe o cuidado em saúde.Downloads
