Percepções de gestantes sobre as consultas de pré-natal na promoção do aleitamento materno
Resumo
Objetivo: descrever as percepções das gestantes sobre consultas de pré-natal voltadas à promoção do aleitamento. Métodos: pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória, com entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com oito gestantes entre junho e agosto de 2024, após consultas de pré-natal direcionadas à promoção do aleitamento. Utilizou-se a amostragem por saturação e os dados foram analisados por análise temática. Resultados: emergiram quatro categorias: 1) Desmistificação e aprendizado, que esclareceu crenças equivocadas e fortaleceu o conhecimento; 2) Aumento da confiança, com relatos de maior preparo para enfrentar os desafios da amamentação; 3) Satisfação com a consulta, consideradas úteis e informativas, favorecendo o preparo para amamentar; 4) Apoio contínuo, com o desejo de suporte adicional após o parto. Conclusão: a partir dos dados obtidos, é possível inferir que o acompanhamento da promoção do aleitamento no pré-natal favorece a construção de saberes, aumenta a confiança materna e ressalta a necessidade de apoio pós-parto para o êxito da amamentação.
