Abstract

This article aims to present the IESA (Inserimento Eterofamiliare Supportato di Adulti) - Heterofamiliar Inclusion Supporting to Adults suffering from psychiatric disorders who want to work to include a bearer of mental disorders in a family that is not yours. The hospitality is reciprocated through a reimbursement of monthly expenses and is an intervention provided support to the family and guest, by a team with a frequency at least fortnightly. It is a form of housing with therapeutic value and great social reintegration, alternative to lengthy hospitalizations in closed institutions, and complement other solutions residential land. It is a practice focused on patients of all ages (even the youngest) and is not restricted to a specific type of disorder. The goal of the IESA is to give back to society those people who, by misfortune clinical-existential, are in hardship, often on condition of loneliness or inadequate residential contexts and alienating.
