Hospital sustentable para enfermería: análisis de concepto

Resumo

Objetivo: desenvolver uma análise conceitual do hospital sustentável para a enfermagem e fornecer uma definição que permita sua compreensão e prática. Método: esta é uma análise conceitual baseada na metodologia de oito etapas de Walker e Avant. Resultados: as evidências científicas mostraram sete perspectivas de hospital sustentável. Encontramos também práticas ambientais com a participação da enfermagem, destacando avanços no comprometimento organizacional, na gestão ambiental hospitalar e na liderança. Considerações finais: este novo conceito orienta uma visão estratégica e operacional da enfermagem para o cumprimento dos compromissos ambientais por meio da liderança, do trabalho transdisciplinar e do fortalecimento das competências do capital humano da enfermagem. O conceito pode ser utilizado em outros estudos que discutam o desenvolvimento sustentável e a enfermagem, além de aplicar os atributos mencionados na prática clínica, educacional, administrativa e investigativa da enfermagem nos diversos serviços assistenciais.
