Concepções da prática do cuidado de enfermagem na hipotermia perioperatória não intencional
Resumo
Objetivo: compreender as concepções de profissionais de enfermagem sobre a hipotermia perioperatória não intencional e os cuidados de enfermagem voltados à sua prevenção e tratamento. Método: estudo exploratório, qualitativo, desenvolvido com 22 profissionais de enfermagem atuantes no bloco cirúrgico de um hospital geral de grande porte. Os dados foram coletados por entrevistas e analisados pela análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Resultados: emergiram duas categorias temáticas: compreensão limitada da hipotermia perioperatória não intencional e de seus fatores predisponentes; e práticas de enfermagem voltadas predominantemente ao monitoramento e aquecimento do paciente. Conclusão: o conhecimento sobre hipotermia perioperatória não intencional apresenta lacunas, limitando a autonomia e a atuação preventiva da enfermagem, o que pode comprometer a qualidade do cuidado e a segurança do paciente. Os resultados subsidiam ações de educação permanente na assistência e na gestão do cuidado cirúrgico.
