Segurança do paciente e fatores associados: estudo transversal com equipe multiprofissional de terapia intensiva
Resumo
Objetivo: Avaliar a segurança do paciente e identificar fatores associados na percepção da equipe multiprofissional de Terapia Intensiva de um hospital público de Salvador, Bahia, Brasil. Método: Estudo transversal, realizado de março a junho/2024 com 207 profissionais. Os dados foram coletados por meio da “Percepção geral da segurança do paciente” e “Nota de segurança do paciente” do Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture e analisados por estatística descritiva e inferencial. Resultados: A equipe apresentou percepção intermediária da segurança do paciente. O local de trabalho e a escolaridade estavam associados à percepção de segurança e à nota geral. A idade e a carga horária semanal apresentaram associação com a nota de segurança. Conclusões: A percepção de segurança foi influenciada por fatores do contexto de trabalho, formação profissional e carga horária e evidenciou a necessidade de estratégias voltadas à melhoria das condições de trabalho e da cultura de segurança.
