ACABOU O HORROR: A ADAPTAÇÃO DA NETFLIX PARA SWEET TOOTH

Resumo
O artigo objetiva fazer um trabalho comparativo entre a graphic novel Sweet Tooth (2009-2013), do autor canadense Jeff Lemire, e a série homônima lançada pela Netflix em 2021, em adaptação de Jim Mickle. Serão consideradas as principais modificações da série em relação ao texto original. A pesquisa examinará como alguns elementos visuais e textuais principalmente do Horror (normalmente ligado ao Gótico) são claramente evitados na série, que prefere focar em elementos fantásticos ou realistas. A presente análise será feita principalmente observando teorias a respeito do Horror e do Gótico e sobre adaptação intermidiática.
