Hay otras escuelas

Resumo

En ese ensayo discuto sobre la posibilidad de otras escuelas, pues la imagen que profesionales y público en general tienen de la escuela es como el lugar para ser enseñado, más que para aprender, que ello requiere un orden secuenciado, y que la actividad en la clase pasa por variantes de un principio fijo: todos hacen lo mismo, a la vez y de la misma manera, para llegar al mismo sitio. Sin embargo, hay otras escuelas, que no son un modelo a seguir porque no son un modelo, sino una inspiración para la búsqueda y la creación de otras formas y posibilidades de lo educativo que amplíe la imaginación creadora, para salirnos del círculo vicioso de la critica a lo dado que solo encuentra energía negativa como oposición reactiva. Al enseñar otros espacios, tiempos, relaciones, el saber y formas de experiencia, aparecen otras sensibilidades, como también nuevos problemas y circunstancias que requieren pensar de nuevo el qué de la infancia, nuestra relación con ella, lo que deseamos para los niños y niñas, el futuro y el presente, la sociedad y el mundo, y nuestra presencia en él. Palabras-clave: escuela, escuelas alternativas, educación, educación alternativa There are other schools AbstractIn this essay I discuss the possibility of other schools since the image that professionals and general public have got of the school is that of a place where one is taught instead of that of a place where one learns. Also, that a sequencial order is required and that the activity in the classroom happens through variants of a fixed principle: everyone does the same thing, simultaneously and in the same way, to get to the same place. Nevertheless, there are other schools that are not a model to follow because they are not a model, but an inspiration for the search and the creation of other forms and possibilities which can extend the creative imagination and push it out of the vicious circle of the critic to find that we only have negative energy as reactive opposition. When showing other spaces, times, relationships, knowledge and forms of experience, other possibilities show up, as well as new problems and circumstances that lead us to think again about what childhood is, our relation to it, what we wish for the children, the future and the present, the society and the world, and our presence in it.
