Cartas, fragmentos do tempo do amor

Resumo

O artigo aprecia, poeticamente, o filme ‘Three Times’ (2005), dirigido por Hou Hsiao Hsien, especificamente a sua primeira parte, denominada Tempo do Amor. Dedica-se à presença das cartas no filme como o objeto cujos signos que emite nos fazem, espectadores, querer decifrar a experiência do tempo do amor. Como todo signo, as escritas das cartas designam um objeto e significam alguma coisa diferente. A composição de conexões entre o signo e a imagem faz-se, no artigo, a partir do diálogo com conceitos de Gilles Deleuze, tais como a imagem-tempo e o virtual. Palavras-chave: tempo, imagem, virtualidade Letters, fragments of the love timeAbstractThe article appreciates, poetically, the movie ‘Three Times’ (2005), directed by Hou Hsiao Hsien, specifically its first part, named Time of the Love. It dedicates to analyze the presence of the letters in the movie as the object which the emitted signs that make us, spectator, to want to decipher the experience of the time of the love. As all sign, the writings of the letters assign an object and mean something different. The composition of connections between the sign and the image occurs, in the article, from the dialogue with concepts of Gilles Deleuze, such as the image-time and the virtual. Key-words: time, image, virtuality
