COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE IN CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT: PREDICTIVE MODELS, PRESERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF CULTURAL IDENTITY

Abstract

This article introduces a conceptual synthesis and its application to Cultural Environment into mega-scale projects. It conciliates current technological development with cultural identity preservation and its sustainable valuation. For better explanation, this article is divided in three major bodies of application: i) Archaeology of Preservation from the perspective of global challenges; ii) Applied Predictive Models in Archaeology; iii) Cultural Identity and Collective Intelligence. Such article was originally elaborated as a working paper integrated to the practice of the Scientific Committee of Documento during several projects in which scientific and social symmetry is highly required for the cultural risk management. Once a model was built into a solid ecosystem, we decided to introduce our model for knowledge management along with its tools for adaptive management, collective intelligence and risk management. Such model allows social scientists to expand the results of scientific research as well as its significance, opening new platforms for cultural heritage management and its governance.
