Abstract

This article intends to show how Boudica, Breton queen from the Iceni tribe, who led an army against the Roman Empire in the 1st century A.D., is consolidated in the historical experience of the British past as well as in its collective memory through a material culture composed by statues and a Stained Glass window found in different cities of the United Kingdom, such as Colchester, London and Cardiff.
