THOR, QUADRINHOS E O ENSINO DA BELEZA E A JUSTIÇA DE PLATÃO

Resumo

Thor, comics and Plato's teaching of beauty and justiceResumo: Este texto tem uma proposta sobre o uso dos quadrinhos para abordagens de ensino mostrando a relações do público que consome esse produto com a leitura, literatura, arte, história e o exercício do filosofar, principalmente pelo mito e a mitologia. O exercício do filosofar dialoga sempre com outra pessoa. Os conceitos que descrevem a perfeição e de como podemos compreender essa perfeição. Todos estes conceitos podem surgir em narrativas, como os clássicos realizavam, e aqui, fazemos pela figura mitológica de Thor nos quadrinhos. Utilizar Thor da Marvel Comics mesmo sendo um deus do panteão nórdico, representa muito bem a Beleza e o Belo, sendo seu martelo Mjölnir o símbolo da Justiça. Mas, como podemos falar da Beleza, do Belo e da Justiça descrito por Platão utilizando um personagem dos quadrinhos em sala de aula? E, sendo o personagem do panteão nórdico? Estaríamos empobrecendo a filosofia? Reduzir uma obra, conceitos e virtudes da filosofia platônica à mimeses seria correto? Responderemos cada uma dessas perguntas no decorrer deste trabalho. Falaremos utilizando o modelo platônico literário que ainda é utilizado em vários livros, textos filosóficos, científicos e em obras gráfico-literárias como os quadrinhos.Palavras Chaves: Quadrinhos, Thor, Beleza e Justiça.Abstrac: This text has a proposal on the use of comics for teaching approaches showing the relationship of the public that consumes this product with reading, literature, art, history and the exercise of philosophizing, mainly by myth and mythology. The exercise of philosophizing always dialogues with another person. The concepts that describe perfection and how we can understand that perfection. All of these concepts can arise in narratives, as the classics did, and here, we do it by the mythological figure of Thor in the comics. Using Thor from Marvel Comics, even though he is a god of the Nordic pantheon, represents Beauty and Beauty very well, with his Mjölnir hammer being the symbol of Justice. But, how can we talk about Beauty, Beauty and Justice described by Plato using a comic book character in the classroom? And, being the character of the Nordic pantheon? Are we impoverishing philosophy? Would it be correct to reduce a work, concepts and virtues of Platonic philosophy to mimesis? We will answer each of these questions in the course of this work. We will speak using the literary platonic model that is still used in several books, philosophical and scientific texts and in graphic-literary works such as comics.Keywords: Comics, Thor, Beauty and Justice
