DESTRUIÇÃO CRIATIVA NA CAPITAL INGLESA: O CASO V FOR VENDETTA

Creative destruction in the england capital: case v for vendetta Resumo: Quando a destruição pode ser o símbolo da resistência? Este artigo visa responder essa questão através da interpretação e análise da graphic novel V for Vendetta dos britânicos Alan Moore e David Lloyd. Atentaremos, ao longo do presente artigo, ressaltar que o trabalho de Moore e Lloyd são chaves para a compreensão de como a destruição de símbolos e monumentos são fatores fundamentais para a resistência e desestabilização do status quo. Assim, a partir de um processo de construção de anti-monumentos e/ou destruição criativa, entendemos haver uma renovação do ideal identitário imputado aos símbolos do Estado, desse modo, instigando, não somente uma adequação dos mesmos aos tempos presentes, como o ressaltar de uma (necessária) perspectiva crítica acerca daquilo que se pretende perpetuar ao sustentar a manutenção dos mesmos enquanto símbolos de uma determinada cultura/sociedade.Palavras-chave: Anti-monumento, Destruição Criativa, Alan Moore, V de Vingança Abstract: When can destruction be the symbol of resistance? This article aims to answer this question through the interpretation and analysis of the graphic novel V for Vendetta by the British writers Alan Moore and David Lloyd. Throughout this article, we will emphasize that the work of Moore and Lloyd are keys to understanding how the destruction of symbols and monuments are fundamental factors in the resistance and destabilization of the status quo. Thus, from a process of construction of anti-monuments and/or creative destruction, we understand that there is a renewal of the identity ideal attributed to the symbols of the State, in this way, instigating, not only an adaptation of them to the present times, but also to emphasize from a (necessary) critical perspective about what is intended to perpetuate by sustaining their maintenance as symbols of a particular culture/society.Keywords: Anti-monument, Creative Destruction, Alan Moore, V for Vendetta
