O Método da Psicobiografia
um antigo (novo) método qualitativo de fazer pesquisa em Psicologia
Resumo
A psicobiografia é um método que visa a explorar e a integrar arte, psicologia e biografia, buscando compreender a complexidade da personalidade humana e as dinâmicas que influenciam a criação literária ou artística através do estudo sistemático das vidas individuais de pessoas públicas (artistas, escritores etc.). Este artigo tem por objetivo explorar, definir a prática, as origens da psicobiografia e o seu desenvolvimento no contexto global e histórico, a fim de oferecer uma compreensão contextual dos fundamentos do método. As críticas comumente encontradas e as aplicações da psicobiografia nos dias atuais foram descritas, destacando sua importância na compreensão da complexidade da vida humana e suas contribuições para o avanço do conhecimento em psicologia. A psicobiografia pode ser realizada com base em diferentes abordagens psicológicas (Terapia Cognitiva Comportamental, Psicologia Positiva etc.). Em conclusão, a disseminação do método pode contribuir para estudos da personalidade de pessoas públicas brasileiras.Downloads
