Uma Outra Escola do Outro Lado da Janela (A vivência escolar na formação inicial de professores de Biologia)

Resumo

Este trabalho tem como objetivo investigar os diferentes saberes e concepções formativas envolvidos na construção da identidade docente a partir dos depoimentos de quatro licenciandos em Ciências Biológicas a respeito de suas histórias de vida escolares, destacando-se a importância desse recurso para a formação de professores. Nas entrevistas, os alunos relataram as principais influências positivas que receberam ao longo de suas trajetórias escolares e o modo como até hoje estas contribuem para a construção de suas imagens de docentes. Também foram enumeradas as dificuldades vivenciadas nesses espaços bem como as principais expectativas escolares não atendidas. As discussões de vários elementos presentes nesses relatos, ao mesmo tempo únicos e inseridos em estruturas determinantes mais amplas, também constituem um instrumento importante na formação de professores.Palavras-Chave: Formação de Professores; História de Vida; Identidade Docente; Ensino de Ciências e BiologiaAnother School in the otherside of the Window (school experiences in the initial formation of Biology teachers)AbstractThis work aims to investigate the different kinds of knowledge and conceptions involved in the formation of the teacher identity, based on the interviews of four Biology graduating students about their school life histories, highlighting the importance of this resource for the teacher formation. On the interviews the students report their major positive influences received along their school trajectories and the how these ones contribute to the construction of their teacher image. They have also listed the difficulties experienced by them in their schools and the major expectations these institutions have failed to fulfill. The discussions of many of the issues present in these reports, at the same time unique and inserted in higher determinant structures, also represent an important instrument in the teacher formation.Keywords: Teachers Formation; Life History; Teachers Identity; Science and Biology Teaching.
