Grammar teaching
impacts in the current scenario, of principles and parameters since two decades long
Abstract
It is argued by a qualitative approach, based on questions of students assessments, such as the grammar taught at school has been approached in the classroom, and, above all indicative are presented, which might contribute to improve the didactic and pedagogical quality of work, considering the parameters established in the last two decades. Therefore, they are guided in research on the subject in Education and Linguistics - Theoretical and Applied (GERALDI, 1984; NEVES, 1990;PERINI, 1995; TRAVAGLIA, 2007, 2009 and 2010; CABRAL, 2015 and others). These were examined show the predominance of normative approach (identification and classification of grammatical categories). However, to collaborate with the change in direction of grammar teaching, it is proposed that the teaching and learning activities should take into account the prevalence of practices involving: (i) work with the text (oral and written and several genres); Analysis by reflections; (ii) conducting research beyond the scope of diagnosis and thus collaborate in the process of continuous training of professionals.
