The PALOP Independence Process: An Analysis of Mozambique's Independence and its Trajectory
Abstract
Abstract: This work aims to analyze the independence process of the Mozambican State and the impact resulting from this movement. Based on an understanding of the conflicts that affected the consolidation of Mozambique's Independence, it becomes necessary to analyze the repercussions on communication with the international sphere and with the Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP), as well as its foreign policy and respective consequences. Qualitative methods, document analysis, and historical research will be employed as methodology. The study aims to present the current context of the Mozambican State and how the country positions itself within the international context following its independence process.
