No rastro da história da FaE: um inventário dos caminhos da formação docente

Resumo

O trabalho tem como propósito trazer à luz alguns elementos fundantes da instalação da Faculdade de Educação (FaE) como responsável pela formação docente, na Universidade Federal de Pelotas. Nessa perspectiva, as professoras pesquisadoras da linha de pesquisa Formação Docente, do Programa de Pós-graduação promoveram uma busca nos guardados da memória da Faculdade, ajudadas por uma das protagonistas do projeto inicial dessa instituição, Profª. Maria Isabel da Cunha. Este sobrevôo traz olhares e saberes sobre a experiência de formação docente a partir do ponto de vista da protagonista somado ao dessas docentes. Este movimento levou à percepção de que, ao longo dos 30 anos de sua existência, a FaE vem sendo habitada por saberes plenos de movimentos, de diferenças e de complexidades, os quais nos remetem às raízes imaginárias e arquetípicas que ainda hoje estão refletidos em nossas concepções e práticas. Palavras-chave: formação docente In the track of FaE´s history: an inventory of the ways to teacher formation Abstract This paper has the purpose of bringing to light some foundational elements related to the establishment of the Faculty of Education as the responsible institution for teacher formation at the Federal University of Pelotas. In order to achieve such an aim, the lecturers of the Research Line in Teacher Formation, at the Postgraduate Program, promoted a search on the Faculty's memory, helped by one of the protagonists of the initial project of this institution, Prof. Maria Isabel da Cunha. This overview presents the impressions and knowledge about the experience of forming teachers from the perspective of this protagonist combined with that of these lecturers. Such a move led to the perception that, during its 30 years of existence, FaE has been inhabited by a kind of knowledge full of movement, differences and complexities, which expose the imaginary and archetypical roots that are still being reflected on our conceptions and practices.
